With Open Water Season fast approaching I’ve spoken to Bob at Open Swim (Sale) and he’s putting some coached open water sessions on for our swimmers across the region. The sessions are on Tuesday evenings (which suits with our training schedule) so you can learn the skills of the event & can practice on the exact course you’ll be racing on 29th June. You will also be learning all the tricks of the event which is important - open water can be a tactical race at times and it good to be switched on with what to do.
I’d really love to see loads of you racing the open water event this year (adults included in the masters race) as you know I’m super passionate about open water swimming & would love for more of you to see how fantastic it is!!
This is open to swimmers of all age and parents/masters can even book in the same session as the open swim coaches can do splits.
You can book below and it will run every Tuesday night after this date for the foreseeable and certainly up until regionals.
