Changes from Monday 17th August - Face coverings and fins (Sat & Sun am only from 22nd)
Face Coverings:
Brio have now confirmed the requirement, from Monday 17th August, for anybody aged 12 years and above, to wear a Face Covering when entering the Lifestyle Centre.
For swimmers the coverings will need to remain in place until they reach their allotted bench poolside.
The same rules will apply to Coaches and Covid Liaison Officers, who will also not have to wear coverings once in position poolside.
Brio have made it clear that entry to the Lifestyle Centre will not be allowed unless a face covering is worn.
Face coverings do not have to be worn to exit the building via the fire exit as long as social distancing of 2m is being maintained.
Fins:
Brio have also agreed the use of fins in training sessions and Dan has requested that swimmers bring fins for Saturday and Sunday mornings only - starting NEXT weekend 22nd/23rd Aug.
Fins must be marked clearly with the swimmer's name, and must not be borrowed from, lent to, or handled by any other person.
Only fins are to be brought poolside. No other kit yet. If they are brought in a bag, the bag must be left on your bench. Just Saturday and Sunday mornings for now from the 22nd Aug.
