CONGRATULATIONS!
42 NORTH WEST REGIONAL QUALIFIERS!
It is with great pleasure to announce that Winsford Swim Team have a grand total of, 42 Swimmers qualified for the North West Summer Regional Championships 2020, consisting of 36 Full Time Club Swimmers and 6 University Swimmers and a total of 210 regional qualifying times achieved. This is a magnificent achievement for all our swimmers and is testament to the hard work and commitment our swimmers have put into their training over the last 12 months. Not only this but it is clear to see, a massive reason why we have such a large number of qualifiers is due to the fantastic coaching team we are lucky to have at Winsford Swim Team, THANK YOU to the whole coaching team a fantastic team effort from all.
Well Done again to all qualifiers, but I would like to make a special mention to all our first time qualifiers: Jack Wheeler, Adam Brown, Joe Mather, Amelia Fitzgerald, Ruby Thomas, Cillian Wilkes, Milly Venning, Eden Mankee, Eleanor Ma (first time for Winsford), George Young & Tom Carss.

Unfortunately the North West Regional Summer Championships are cancelled for 2020, this is very disappointing for all coaches, swimmers and the club as a whole but this cancellation does not take away anything from our swimmers achievements. All the coaches are very pleased and proud to have so many swimmers reaching a NW Regional standard, fantastic effort and well done to all. Winsford Swim Team will still reward our New Regional swimmers with Regional polo tops because even though we can't go racing our swimmers have still achieved the benchmark of qualifying and deserve that recognition.
The photo on Wednesday 18th March, 6:30pm in the cafe will still go ahead as planned, I hope all still can attend.
