Restart Training Reminders
We are a few sessions in now with only a small number of swimmers yet to swim. The coaches would like to take this opportunity to thank all the swimmers for doing such a good job at following the new rules. I'm sure it has been very strange starting and stopping in unusual locations, swimming on the blue lines (something we would normally tell you not to do) and having to change on poolside.
We would like to remind you of a few things before you next train. If you haven't trained yet then its especially important that you read this.
1. Know what lane number you are in before you arrive. It's worth checking on the day just in case we have had to have a shuffle.
Transition swimmers, please write your number on your hand. This will make it so much easier for the Covid Liason Officer to get you quickly and safely to where you need to be.
2. Think about what you will be changing into after training. When you are wet your clothes are harder to get on so the less the better. Shorts rather than trousers, flip-flops rather than shoes, baggy t- shirts rather than 3 piece suits. The record for getting changed is about 10 seconds from getting back to the bench. If you could all do that then that's more precious swimming time.
3. You don't need a kit bag. Less is Best!! For now you only need a bottle. We will let you know as and when we want more equipment bringing.
See you at the pool
