Who have all enrolled onto the Swim England North West Young Volunteer Award for the 2020/2021 season.
The Award aims to:
- Provide young individuals with an overview of the different volunteering pathways; coaching/teaching, events and officiating
- Provide information about the different roles which volunteers undertake to continue the development of aquatic sports
- Support and develop transferable skills, which can be used to enhance education and future job applications
- Provide young individuals with volunteering experience which can be evidenced and utilised in conjunction with The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.
This is a fantastic opportunity for all our swimmers who have enrolled, I am sure all will get a lot out of the programme, and enjoy the workshops.
Due to the popular demand for the Young Volunteer Award (filling up in 48 hours), Swim North West are going to put on more workshops. I am sure even more of our swimmers will be taking up this fantastic opportunity and enrol on the programme.
