Winsford Club Championships 2020 Postponed
Due to the current Coronavirus pandemic and Swim England not issuing any licenses for swimming meets, our Club Champions will not be going ahead in September as originally planned. The coaching team and gala committee are however very keen for the Club Championships to take place at a later date, when Swim England confirm it is safe to do so.
Our Club Championships are one of the highlights of the season, where the whole club comes together as one to race our fellow team mates. The Club Championships also provide such a valuable opportunity for all our members (especially the least experienced) to race and gain ranking times for the Swim England database, so they can race in other larger meets later in the season. With this in mind we are going to 100% try our very best to rearrange our Club Championships at a later date, as soon as it is safe to do so and Swim England start issuing licenses once more.
We also believe it is only fair to our swimmers, to be racing the Club Championships at a later date, when our swimmers have had chance to get some training under their belts and regain their fitness.
