A Level Results Day 2021 - Outstanding Success
Congratulations to all our swimmers past and present who received their A Level and/or BTEC results today. The feedback from parents has been that all our young people have done amazingly well.
This past year due to the virus, has not been ideal to say the least, with education disrupted for a large part, but this has not deterred our young people who have shown tremendous resilience, coming away with some outstanding success and achievements.
Last year and this year has been our largest contingents ever (who are still active members of our club) to graduate from further education. All our swimmers have served and represented Winsford Swim Team to the absolute highest order both at training and meets, contributing a huge amount in helping our club to succeed over many years, and for some providing nearly a decade of service. It has been wonderful to get to know you all, and work with you on a daily basis, the attitude you have all shown has been A**! On behalf of everyone at our club I would like to say thank you to you all.
Seeing our young people going off to pastures new is sad and happy at the same time. Sad, because we won’t see our A Level leavers around the pool as much for training and galas, but also there is happy emotions, because all have come on such a long journey and have matured into fine young men and women.
The future is so very exciting for our young swimmers, they are young, fit, healthy, clever, kind, caring, hard working, resilient and they also can swim a bit! The future is bright, and most definitely for all our leavers the future will still be orange wherever they may go.
Congratulations again to all swimmers past and present who received their results today and good luck in your new ventures. Remember you are all welcome back to Winsford Swim Team anytime to say hello, and have a swim, it would be great to see you all.
