GCSE Results 2021- Congratulations
Congratulations to all our swimmers who today collected their GCSE results, by the sounds of the feedback I have received our swimmers have stepped up, gaining some superb results.
As everyone knows the education of children and young people has been massively affected this past year, but this has not stopped our swimmers from achieving some absolutely fantastic results.
It is so wonderful to hear of our swimmers successes in their education, it really does go to show that sport and education work hand in hand. In fact there is evidence that sport and exercise help people to maintain their intellectual focus, by allowing for some much needed downtime away from the books.
Swimming provides our young people with so many life skills which are transferable into their education, such as being hard working, committed, organised and maintaining a can do positive attitude.
Well done again to all our swimmers who collected their GCSE results today, lots of hard work has gone into the last 11 years of education, all results are thoroughly deserved.
The coaching team will look forward to congratulating each and every one of you in the days to come. In the mean time I think a very expensive meal out is called for, so parents get your wallets and purses out, it’s going to be an expensive one, swimmers have a huge appetite!
Hope you all enjoy the rest of the day and the rest of summer, before we begin the next term in September and of course the new season, which is so very exciting for us all.
