Winsford Swimming Club

It is that time of year again when we look forward to our extremely successful annual Christmas Meet. This year due to Covid restrictions we made the decision to run it as a Level 4, which means the meet is for solely our swimmers. This is to allow more of our swimmers the opportunity to race and target Cheshire County consideration times, and to prep for the Counties which begin in late January.

Initially our Christmas Meet is open to ALL Juggernaut and ALL Development swimmers, and then if space we will be welcoming our very youngest swimmers from the Transition Squads. As it is our meet and our club, it is expected that all swimmers to enter, compete and support us on the 4th December at what many consider to be the fastest SC pool in the NW of England.

The Manchester Snowpen meet will be attended by our swimmers ONLY on Sunday 5th December, as all our swimmers will be supporting our Christmas Meet on the Saturday.

Winsford Swim Team Christmas Meet will be a wonderful day of fierce, friendly and fun competition, medals will be awarded to the top 3 in each event and there will be random spot prizes, Christmas music, raffles (Claire T does the best raffles), lots and lots of tinsel (thanks Julie in advance), and Father Christmas may even pay us a visit (thanks Barry for donning the red and white for us). So yes our Christmas Meet will be an extravaganza of racing, with all our swimmers racing hard and having lots of fun.

There are restrictions on entries so we can accommodate as many swimmers as possible, so please read the conditions. But yes, please get your entries in and thanks again for everyone in supporting our Christmas Meet it really is appreciated. It will be great to see everyone on the 4th December.
