1 DAY TO GO! ARENA LEAGUE 2025
1 day to go until the first round of the North West Arena League. We have two teams going again this year; the A team to Macclesfield to compete in the Premier league and the B team to Kendal to compete in Division 1.
The Arena League is the most important club team competition we do all season, so it is imperative we all bring our best for the team. Each and every swimmer counts, every single race is absolutely crucial.
A team – please arrive by 4:30pm at the latest.
B team – please arrive by 2:40pm at the latest.
The TM’s will check you off, then we can prepare thoroughly before the warm up begins.
All swimmers are to wear orange Winsford tops on poolside, and to wear Winsford swimming hats for both warm up and the racing. All swimmers are to stay until the end of the gala so we can cheer all our swimmers on and support the team to very last event.
Parents - please wear your Winsford / orange tops, seeing the orange army cheering you on from the stands is something truly special, it gives that much needed boost to keep pushing and get to the finish faster!
Winsford have previously been renowned across the North West to have the best and loudest supporters, we’d like to continue this so get ready to make some noise! Please remember to respect the refs whistles, it should be silent then.
If you are not swimming but would like to come and support we would greatly appreciate it.
Finally, Molly will be running a stretch class tonight at 5:30-6:15 which would be fantastic pre race prep. Good food and sleep is also super important.
