Winsford Swimming Club

This weekend Winsford attended the Burnley Bobcats meet, many chasing regional times and PBs with great success especially after only finishing Cheshires a few weeks ago!

This weekend our swimmers demonstrated a relaxed but focused attitude to racing which was rewarded with some wonderful performances.

Over the course of the weekend, we managed to secure 21 medals:

Gold – 12
Silver – 7
Bronze – 2

Eris Coxon – GOLD 100 free, GOLD 200 Fly, GOLD 100 Breast, GOLD 200 Back, GOLD 100 Back, GOLD 100 FLY, GOLD 200 Free, GOLD 50 Fly, SILVER 50 Free, SILVER 50 Back

Cole Staley – GOLD 100 Free, SILVER 200 Free, BRONZE 400 Free

Aston Broomhall – SILVER 100 Breast, BRONZE 50 Breast

Jasmine Lloyd – GOLD 200 Fly

Ava Lunt – GOLD 200 Fly

Will Line – GOLD  50 Back

Daniel Richardson – SILVER 400 IM

George Davies – SILVER 400 Free

Ben Marshall – SILVER 50 Free

We had 3 new regional qualifiers: Cole Staley for 100 Free, Rebecca Line for 200 Breast, and Charlie Smith for 100 Breast.

As always well done to all our swimmers who participated this weekend, you were fantastic with so many medals, PBs and spot prizes! I think we only had 2 DQs to show over 2 full days shows an improvement from Cheshires, well done!
