Cheshires 25 Weekend 2 Report
Another absolutely fantastic weekend!! We now have a total of 81 Medals across 23 different swimmers, 193 Top 8 Finishers or Finalists across 48 different swimmers, absolute squad depth!
PBs after PBs, medals and finals it’s been an absolute pleasure to watch! Well done to everyone who competed. Special mention to our new celebrity Loic Bazin who came to join us for the weekend and won the 100m Butterfly outright in an incredible time of 55.04! Congratulations to Edward Ma and Kate Schillinger who also won trophies this weekend. What is brilliant to see at Cheshires is our strength across all events, ages and gender- Winsford swimmers featuring in majority of finals! Next weekend we move back onto distance events, the 200 IMs, Girls 200 Brst and the most fun part of our sport- Skins & RELAYS! All swimmers picked for Cheshire relays will be required on Wednesday evening 7-9pm to practice together- Development relay swimmers please join us 7-9pm instead for this week only.
Overall we are currently sat 2nd on the points table and doing very well… can we politely request swimmers not to withdraw now unless absolutely necessary, we had quite a lot this weekend & we need as many points as we can for the final weekend! You are swimming for your team as well, we need you!
