It is with great regret that I have to announce that Dan will be leaving us in mid-May. Dan’s enthusiasm, and associated success, speaks for itself, but suffice to say we will miss him, and now have a huge hole to fill.
Rather than me giving Dan’s reasons for going, I have decided to use his own communication to the coaching team
Hello Everyone
I am sorry to announce to you all but I have resigned as Head coach of Winsford Swim Team.
On Monday I was offered a new role (starting May 13th) away from the world of swimming coaching, a position I have decided to accept.
It has been an incredibly difficult decision because swimming has been my life, however energy levels aren’t what they used to be after 13 years of relentless work.
Over the next 4 weeks I will be giving 110% for all swimmers and coaches, that is a given.
Thank you so much for all your support, I can’t emphasise how grateful I am.
We can talk more at training when I see you all this week.
