NW Premier League A Final
As you all know the Premier League Arena Final takes place on Sunday 11th December and Winsford Swim Team will be one of 8 Top teams battling it out over 50 events. Winsford have been in the NW Premier League for the past 5 years, in that time we have been in the B Final twice and the A final twice plus this year's spot in the A Final. We go up against some of the biggest City and Metro clubs not only in the North West of England but in Great Britain. Now for some that could be daunting but for Winsford Swim Team that poses a great challenge, which we will certainly meet head on. There is no doubt at all in my mind I want a fantastic result, I want our best ever result, both in terms of points and overall placing. I have a target in mind for our club and our swimmers which will stay between myself and myself but needless to say my target is extremely high but achievable.
Now results or success doesn't just happen, for us to have a positive result we need every single swimmer to bring their absolute triple A Game to Macclesfield, and make their contribution to our team. I know for sure every single swimmer, coach and team manager will do their duty for our team and our club. The other aspect to help us give that little bit extra for every race is the fans. We need an army of orange, we need plenty of noise for our swimmers and our club, we have superb togetherness and we need that more than ever on Sunday. Please bring your voices to Macclesfield, no other team and I mean no other team is going to beat our support, no pressure parents but I want all other parents from the other 7 clubs to know what our club is about and to know what passion is. We Need you all on Sunday.!

Now the pool side and balcony opens up at 12pm with a 1pm warm up. The balcony at Macclesfield was absolutely packed for round 1 and round 2, the final will be even busier and it wouldn't surprise me if the balcony would close well before warm up time. We need our fans in early and ideally in one block and wearing orange. When our team is read out or when our points are announced we want the roof to come off, literally. Any drums, horns, trumpets or petards are all welcome.
All swimmers are to report pool side at 12pm sharp, we want plenty of time to prepare for the warm up and the racing ahead. Again it will be busy so please arrive early. Throughout the competition there will be a no phone policy for all swimmers, all swimmers are to wear Winsford caps and wear orange T Shirt or Polo and all swimmers are expected to remain on pool side right the way to the end of the competition. We support each and every swimmer and cheer on each and every race. Our swimmers will bleed for each other.
This is the biggest club competition of the year, we are in the North West Premier League A final, we are going to enjoy the challenge and swim fast, very fast, giving our absolute all for our club and our team mates. We want to be the loudest and best supported team in Macclesfield what ever the result.
