Winsford Swimming Club

Over the weekend Winsford attended there last meet of the year at Macclesfield. The past few months had been full of hard training and galas and this was the one to end on.

Even with everyone tired and excited for Christmas there were some amazing performances from all. Myself and Andy were so impressed by all of you over the weekend. So a massive well done to all. 

There were almost fifty swimmers in attendance and at least once throughout the weekend almost everybody had a personal best, which after a tough few months is an amazing result. 

With these results we as a club were given the top visiting club as well as having Eris Coxon, Emily Lines and Isaac Kimber earning top boy and girl in their age groups.

Overall it was a great weekend for all with Cheshire times being achieved and pbs being broken. What a fantastic way to go into Christmas! 

None of our galas however would happen without the support of our team managers and officials, who us as coaches couldn’t do our job to support the swimmers. So a big thank you to Rachel Lines, Ali Brennan, Dani Stonier, Sara Hancock, Gemma Robinson, Claire Atkinson, Nina Jackson, Jacqui Jones and a big congratulations and thank you to Andy Jones for helping coach and for passing his Judge 2 Starting Assessment. 

As a coaching team we want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.
