Winsford Swimming Club

This weekend brought more fantastic racing for Winsford. 

Satellites Spring Meet

Firstly we had a huge number of swimmers attending Macclesfield, many youngsters who were at their first ever external gala! 

Thank you Andy and Nicki for heading a successful start on Saturday with some huge PBs, focused racing and good team spirit!

Sunday was much the same, carrying on the positive atmosphere and putting into practice all those races skills we have been working on! Notably we had some stand out finishes and underwater work but there’s still work to be done - as a note for all, remembering DQ rules / turns / breakouts.  

Congratulations to Eris Coxon who achieved the top girl prize in the 11 years age group, Charlotte Ainscough who achieved the top girl prize in the 14 years age group and Ed Smalley achieved the top boy prize in the 16 years age group.

Also congratulations to those swimmers at Sheffield; Emily, Lois, Amy, Molly, Kate and Lily who made a great start to the national window.
