Senior Swim Camp 2025
As you know, from our last communication regarding the Senior Swim Camp in 2024, we were unable to find a suitable venue abroad which met our requirements and, of the UK options, there weren’t any residential venues that had the same half term as us.
Be assured that we have explored a number of alternatives but, the importance of a residential camp is it allows us to train efficiently, bond as a team and have the best possible experience. None of the alternatives offered this or were cost effective.
So what next? Well, as mentioned we have moved onto 2025 and, taking into account the responses to the survey, have reserved a camp in Cyprus at the same venue as this year “Coral Bay Hotel and Resort”. As of yet the prices are not available but we are led to believe they will be in the ball park of £1170 (subject to flights and Cyprus funding). Also as we have approximately 21 months it gives parents more time to budget for this. If you would like to set up a payment plan now or in the future then please let us know. The dates of the camp are provisional from 15th to 22nd February as the school term dates for 2025 have not yet been published.
So far we have taken the responses from the survey as to who wishes to attend a camp abroad but will contact everyone to confirm final numbers in due course. However, do let us know if you wish to change your initial survey response. We will put out another survey to finalise numbers next year as we are well aware that people may move squads, change their minds etc.
