New Swim England Welfare and Safeguarding reporting and recording process
In light of the new judicial regulations that came into effect on the 3rd of September, Swim England has now standardised the reporting and recording of welfare and safeguarding concerns and issues across all aquatic disciplines including masters. A new form has been devised for you to use, please click here.
In all matters reported to you relating to welfare or safeguarding the form must be completed and sent to safeguarding@swimming.org on conclusion of the issue or at the point a formal referral to Swim England Safeguarding is made. Can you please look back in your records and if you have dealt with an issue/concern on or after the 3rd of September, please report the matter and its outcome to Swim England to comply with these new regulations. Those Clubs who are on the ‘Club Portal’ trial should continue to use this system as you are trialling the suitability of a fully on-line reporting system.
