Winter Championships 2025 – Entries Open
The Swim England North West Winter Championships will be held at the Manchester Aquatics Centre on 1–2 November 2025.

The Swim England North West Regional Summer Championships 2026 will take place on the following dates and venues:

Swim England Announces Great Value Late-Season Membership Fees

Swim England’s Drive to Develop Female Water Polo Referees
SE, in collaboration with the British Water Polo League (BWPL) and Aquatics GB, is proud to launch a new initiative in 2025 aimed at increasing female participation in water polo refereeing. With comparable male and female participation in the sport, it’s time our refereeing community reflected that balance. This initiative will focus on Grassroots development to grow the number and standard of female referees on the Swim England Referee Pathway, [Click here for further information]
To start the whole thing off there will a workshop with Anna Goncharenko, international referee at Liverpool Aquatics Centre on the morning of Sunday 19th October at 09:30. It will be free to all players, coaches and referees of both genders, [Click here to register your interest].
Opportunity for North West Para Swimmers
Para swimmers – English Schools Swimming Association (ESSA) NW Region are in the process of collating interest from Para Swimmers born between 1st September 2007 and 31st August 2014 from within the North West Region, who would be interested in being part of the Para Relay Teams events in the ESSA Secondary School Relay National Finals Competition.

Interested in Land Training for Coaches?
The Institute of Swimming are planning their 2026 programme and looking for clubs to host a Swim England Land-Based Coach Certificate course. This course equips coaches with the knowledge and skills to deliver effective land-based training for all aquatic disciplines.
