University and School Swimming Success! 16th/17th Nov 2024
Congratulations to Ethan Wright, Charlotte Mullett, Johnny Mullett, Sophie George, Abi George, Jay Cushen, Lewis Turner, Dan Fletcher, George Young, Carys Roberts, Ryan Wheeler who all travelled to Sheffield and competed at the British University Champs, against the fastest in the country, including Olympians battling out to win!
They were all amazing, some even doing lifetime bests which is incredible to see you all going so well! Special mention to Lewis who gained 3 Winter National times in the process for 200 IM, 100 fly and 50 free, Lewis also competed in a relay where they made the BUCS final and got a University record. Carys also made the BUCS final on the 50m Freestyle- incredible!! We can’t wait to have you all back home with us for Christmas, keep smashing it and we look forward to seeing you all soon :)
ESSA National School Champs in Sandwell, Congratulations to Freya Querelle, Jess Goldsmith and Alice Gooding who represented their school- Kings Chester for the 4x50 Medley intermediate girls relay event. The girls went in ranked 30th and finished 20th with Jess and Alice both swimming amazing new lifetime PB splits! Nice job girls!!
Schools Biathlon- Congratulations to Hannah Keegan who competed in her first Biathlon posting a new lifetime PB 100 Free time of 1.03.29 into a 6.31 1 mile run, Hannah finished 3rd and has qualified her for the National Schools Biathlon! Great work!!
