Winsford Summer Development Meet
The Winsford Summer Development Meet is fast approaching, and with that brings much excitement for our club and our swimmers. Our Development Meet takes on Saturday 7th July over two sessions with races in all the 50 and 100 metre races plus the 100 and 200 IM and the 200 Free. I absolutely love watching our younger swimmers race and compete for our club and to test ourselves against other clubs who will come predominantly from the local area. With this in mind it is expected and encouraged that every swimmer in Transition, Development, Platinum and Juggernaut who meet the entry requirements to enter and race in as many events as possible. In previous years we have had an absolute army of swimmers from our club competing which has been fantastic, this year I would like to see even more taking the plunge. I think we can get over 60 of our young, up and coming, future swimming stars racing and having lots of fun on Saturday 7th July in our home pool. Our Development Meet is for swimmers aged 9-14 (upper limits apply) as of Saturday 7th July, so therefore it is ideal for all our younger swimmers to take part and race. Our Development Meet is perfect for all our youngsters, you do not need times to enter and is a great opportunity to race in a fun and exciting environment.
