Swim Mark 2020
Winsford Swimming Club has again qualified for Swim Mark, the Swim England Club Assessment System. This programme assesses and audits the Club across a wide range of areas including budgets, training schedules, qualifications (including DBSs and Safeguarding), risk assessments and emergency procedures, our Constitution and our forward plans and training needs. It is, essentially a Nationally based Club quality audit.
We have been accredited under this scheme and its predecessor Swim 21 since the process started. Next year though is different in that Clubs must gain accreditation, albeit with a reduced range of topics, in order to remain in operation as part of Swim England
We will continue to seek the full qualification going forward, as it is a clear reflection of the Club's standards.
