Club Champs 2024 Report

It’s been that time of year again, 3 weekends on the row of Club Champs done and dusted for another year! Congratulations to all 140 swimmers who took part from Transition, Development, Juggernaut and even university swimmers making a return, it’s been fantastic by all!!

We saw many swimmers attempting events for the first time & many swimmers even racing for the first time. It was a pleasure to see. Really positive to see many of our national swimmers looking in fantastic shape also either performing PB’s, season bests or within reach.

The Skins is always a enjoyable watch & thank you to all those spectators who hung around to cheer them on!! With amazing nicknames and even some funny costumes attires we were ready to go, (the photos do the work for this one.) The swimmers who came out on top were…

15 & Over Girls- Winner Amy Kenworthy, Runner Up Sophie Grindley
15 & Over Boys- Winner Ethan Wright, Runner Up Connor McVicar

Too many helpers to thank, officials, set up/takedown, timing, lane marshalls, team managers, raffle, swim shop etc but thank you so much from all of the coaching team for your time, we would not be able to run these competitions without you. Congratulations to Abigail Bridges, Kate Querelle, Zoe Coxon and Jacqui Jones for all passing their J1 qualification during our Club Champs. We look forward to nationals in less than 2 weeks now followed by summer and leading into a brand new season! We can’t wait!!
