Winsford Swimming Club

Congratulations to our 32 Swimmers who travelled to sunny Llandudno for the weekend. Bringing home 62 Medals & 92 PBS! Lots travelled and stayed for the whole weekend making the most of the experience. Many memories made and lots of laughter at the pool and on the beach. Our overall top performer this weekend was Kate Schillinger with 7/8 PBs and 8 Gold Medals as well as overall Top Girl.
Hattie Lawson also brought home 9 year old top girl with all pbs!
Our bravest performance was Molly Lloyd who had to redo her 400 IM due to a technical issue. Two 400 IMs in one session is not easy! Molly took 8 seconds off her original time on round 1. Well done Molly!

Our funniest comment of the weekend goes to one of our younger Development swimmers for asking why the sign was in Spanish (it was Welsh!) thanks for the entertainment!

Thanks to our officials (Justin Fletcher, Catharine Line, Debbie Richardson and Stewart Rickels) and team managers (Gemma Barnett, Claire Brown, Richard Line and Matt Pearce) without whom we couldn't do these meets. 

Well done Winsford and we look forward to travelling to Llandudno again.
