Some More Reminders - October Changes to Training - Friday 25th September
Moving into October there are some things to be reminded of and some changes to the schedule.
Lane Number
Please check the website before the session to determine what lane you are swimming in. The lanes can change from week to week so please don't assume you will always be in the same lane. Lanes can also be changed after the schedule has been put on the website. As people drop out of sessions, swimmers are moved to even the lanes up. Swim sessions are getting shorter as it is starting to take longer to get swimmers into the building and into the pool because many are arriving not knowing where they need to be. We have previously suggested that the Transition swimmers have their lane number written on their hands. This has considerably helped the CLOs get the swimmers into position and into the pool more efficiently. Transition Lane Information is available here
If this does not improve across all squads then it will be made compulsory to have your lane number written on your hand before you are allowed to swim.
Emergency Contact Number
Please make sure you are contactable when your child is swimming in the pool. Thankfully there have not been many case of needing to make a call but there have been a few. If your emergency contact number had changed then please let us know.
Non Attendance
If you cannot make a session please contact wingalateam@gmail.com as soon as possible. We get hundreds of emails a week so if you notice that we have missed your request to be added to a session, removed from a session, have your day or time changed or anything else then let us know.
October Schedule Changes
All Winsford Swimmers including Lessons, Transition, Development and Juggernaut should have received an email regarding new days, session times and training options. If you have not responded (and need to) then please do so as soon as possible. The deadline for Lessons is 10pm Monday 28th September. The deadline for all other squads is 8pm Sunday 27th September. If you have not received an email, check your junk mail and, if you still can't find one, contact wingalateam@gmail.com and we will send one out to you.
