Swansea Aquatics Level 1 Long Course Meet 2023 - Report

Over the Coronation Bank Holiday weekend of the 6th/7th May, 11 swimmers made the 4 hours plus journey to Swansea for the Swansea Aquatics Level 1 Long Course Meet hoping to gain and consolidate qualification for the British and English Summer Nationals at the end of the season.

The swimmers raced over 6 long sessions starting at 7:30am and finishing at 7:30pm in a very hot, but friendly environment, surrounded by many familiar faces from the North West and lots of new faces from all over the country! Some great swims and pbs achieved. It is a great pool to swim at, just a shame it is so far away!
Special mention goes to Amy Kenworthy for achieving a meet record in the 800m Freestyle.
