Volunteering at the Manchester 2023 Para Swimming World Championships
The club have been approached by Abbie Roberts, Senior Events and Partnerships Officer, Manchester 2023 Para Swimming World Championships with regards to the below offer.
I’m the Workforce Manager at the upcoming Manchester 2023 Para Swimming World Championships and wanted to reach out around an upcoming volunteer opportunity at the Championships which will take place from 31st July – 6th August at the newly refurbished Manchester Aquatics Centre!
I’m contacting you directly as a couple of Winsford swimmers have been offered a role as kit carriers at the event through our young volunteer programme. This will be an incredible opportunity to volunteer on the world’s stage, see world records being broken, be in the middle of the action around past, present and future Paralympic Champions and support these athletes to perform at their best!
A full team would comprise of 10 swimmers aged at least 14 and they need a team leader who is at least 18, if you meet the above age requirements and would like to be considered or require further information please respond to me by Monday 3rd July 2023.
