Suspension of Swim Training: COVID-19

Yesterday I communicated that we were in constant communication with Swim Northwest as well as with Brio Leisure, who are guided by Cheshire West & Chester Council, with regards to risks associated with the Coronavirus pandemic and our swim programs.
Although we continue to follow Public Health England (PHE) & Government guidance, we now have a situation that a member of our team is in self isolation so with regret we have taken the decision to suspend all swim training with immediate effect.   We will review the situation regularly, but remind everyone that we are in unprecedented times and we are making this decision not only for the swimmers, but their families and the wider community.
We will not go ahead with the planned Regional Photograph this evening and will also postpone next weeks planned AGM.   The committee will review the impact to membership fees and propose adjustments as soon as possible.   You will also be aware that most of our neighbouring swim clubs are also suspending their training and we wait to see what will happen in the coming days with regards to School closures.
