1 Day to Go - Arena League B final Blackpool 2021
We now only have 1 day to go, until we travel on mass to Blackpool to race in the North West Arena Premier League B Final. As mentioned previously it was very disappointing not to take our rightful place in the A Final after our fantastic first round performance. However now we are racing in the B final our goal does not change, we are aiming to swim our fastest ever and place our club as high as possible, we want to win the B final.
In the final we come up against teams from Wrexham, Trafford Metro, Blackpool, Crosby, Prescot and Hoylake. Good teams who will want to beat us, and we can’t allow that to happen. So for us to win the gala we need every single swimmer performing to their very best level, and supporting each other in every single race. We want all our swimmers completely engaged into the event, cheering, waving and shouting for our team mates both from the side of the pool and ends of the pool.
I am also putting out a message for our supporters, we need your help, we need our supporters from the balcony cheering us on in every single race. I know our supporters will help us in our efforts to win the final and to race super fast, support plays a massive part and will no doubt give us all an extra 10%. So please wear orange, bring horns, and any other musical instrument, plus lots of flags, and most of all cheer for Winsford Swim Team. It is only 2 weeks before Christmas so lets make it a real party atmosphere and show the region what Winsford Swim Team is all about.
We love swimming, and we love to go mental for our club, so lets have a wonderful time in Blackpool and swim our absolute best.
