Salary:                       Grade 4, starting at £9.81per hour 

Sites:                          6 pool sites – Northgate Arena, Christleton Leisure Centre, Northwich Memorial Court, Winsford Lifestyle Centre,  Ellesmere Port Sports Village, Neston Recreation Centre

Contract type:            Contracted and Casual hours available – to cover service needs includes days, evenings and weekends

Do you have a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification? Newly qualified or perhaps interested to become a Lifeguard and looking for supported funding? If yes, then we want to hear from you!

We have a number of vacancies for contracted and casual Leisure Attendants across our six pool sites.

The main duties of the Leisure Attendant will include pool supervision, the safe set up of sports equipment, dealing with customers, cleaning and housekeeping and general control of facilities and activities to a high level of customer satisfaction. You will oversee the general safety of the public and the facilities.

WORKING HOURS

We have number of contracted and casual hours available and will be agreed with the individual but may reflect the operational needs of the facility which will include evening and weekend work.

OPEN EVENINGS

Come along to one of our Open Evenings, these events are open to both people with NPLQ’s and without. It will provide individuals the opportunity to ask questions about the role and learn more about what we are looking for.

Ellesmere Port Sports Village - 8^th November 2021 at 17.30 to 18.30

Winford Lifestyle Centre - 9^th November 2021 at 17.30 to 18.30

If you don’t have a current NPLQ then the intention is to train individuals with a recognised Pool Lifeguard qualification as a minimum; therefore, the following level of swim ability is required and will be tested as part of recruitment process:

Be able to swim 100 metres on their front;
Be able to swim 100 metres on their back;
Be able to swim 50 metres in 1 minute;
Be able to surface dive and recover an object from the deepest part of the pool

Please bring with you on the day, your CV and ID and don’t forget to bring a towel and swim wear as well.
