Satellites Last Chance County Qualifier Meet 2021 - REPORT
Over the weekend of the 18th & 19th December Winsford Swim Team had over 40 swimmers travel to Macclesfield to race in the Satellites Last Chance County Qualifier Meet. As the title of the meet reflects this was our very last chance to push on for Cheshire consideration and qualifying times, and with this it was clear our swimmers were in a very determined mood.
The team as always swam superbly well, with many new PBs and county consideration/qualifying times achieved. The medal tally was very healthy with 26 swimmers achieving at least 1 medal, and a total of 32 Gold, 27 Silver, 17 Bronze and a grand total of 76 medals gained by our swimmers.

Well done to all swimmers who competed for Winsford Swim Team, it was fantastic to watch, support and cheer you all on. I would also like to say a massive thank you to our team managers and all coaching staff over the weekend who supported all our swimmers, helping them all to reach their very best. It was fun, lots and lots of fun this weekend, and I can’t wait to see a full team in Macclesfield at the Cheshire County Championships next year.
Now that the Satellites Meet is over the County qualifying window is now closed. The closing date for all our entries is Monday 20th December, please do not miss the deadline. The Cheshire County Championships are one of the highlights of the swimming season, and we want to take a massive team to Macclesfield in January/February 2022. The counties are a compulsory meet for all our swimmers who have met the consideration/qualifying times, so please get your entries in ASAP unless already done so, and enter all events you have times for. We want to to take a full team!
We now have less than 5 weeks until the Cheshire County Championships 2022.
