Winsford making waves at SENW Festival of Swimming - 2 GOLD, 4 SILVER, 8 BRONZE
Congratulations to all swimmers who represented Winsford swim team at the Swim England North West Festival of Swimming. A full report will follow once all sessions are complete next weekend, but to date we have achieved superb success against some of the best swimmers in the NW of England.
Over the first weekend we have gained 14 medals (2 Gold, 4 Silver, 8 Bronze), with 7 different medallist reaching the podium positions. We also achieved a total of 36 top 8 placings, of which we had 16 different swimmers reaching this standard.
A fantastic first weekend of racing with so many new life time bests, and some very exciting racing. I am sure all our swimmers will be looking forward to the final day of racing on Saturday 31st July, where we will be looking to swim even faster.
