Poolside Safety - please wear poolside shoes (crocs, sliders etc)
As everyone is aware there was an incident last Friday at Brio which resulted in broken glass in the pool area. Brio closed the pools to perform a clean up and reopened yesterday morning. At our swim practice yesterday evening a couple of our swimmers stepped on small shards of glass and this was reported to the Duty Manager. Barry has met with Brio management again today and they are keeping the pools open but have borrowed a cleaning machine from another site which will be used over the coming days to help resolve the issue. We are suggesting swimmers wear their poolside shoes, crocs/sliders etc, on the pool deck as a precaution.
A similar advisory will be sent to the clubs we are hosting at this weekend's gala.
