Satellites Regional Qualifier 2026 - Report

What a super weekend for Winsford, racing again at our second pool over in Macclesfield:) We had so many PBs, new regional times and top 3 finishes! Everyone putting into practice turn and stroke work really well with great attitudes all weekend.

For our older swimmers, I’m really proud of you. We had some great results at a tough time of year; heading into mocks / exams and having just done Cheshires and most coming back from camp, fatigue can set in, so it's super important to ensure you're hitting those controllable factors like sleep, recovery, nutrition, strength / mobility etc.

Thank you so much to Andy who coached on Saturday and Nicky for supporting me today. Thank you to all TMs: Sara, Paul, Eve, Gemma – couldn’t do it without you (esp filling up waters and coffee!) Thank you James Laverty for officiating and Lucy Lee for marshalling, again we couldn’t run these galas without you.
