Satellites Autumn Meet 2021 Report - 91 Medals.

Congratulation to all swimmers who represented Winsford Swim Team at the Satellites Level 3 Autumn Open Meet over the weekend of the 16th & 17th October. Winsford took nearly 60 swimmers to Macclesfield to post early season times, in the hope for achieving County, Regional and National qualification.
The weekend was super successful with all swimmers getting stuck into the racing, with numerous swimmers completing a full programme of events. Over the weekend we achieved 41 Gold, 29 Silver and 21 Bronze, totalling 91 medals with 24 different swimmers achieving at least 1 top 3 placing.
Winsford achieved many new County times which is extremely positive as these times have become a lot more difficult this year than in previous years gone by. Not only this but Tom Kud achieved the National Winter qualifying time for the 200 Butterfly, very well done. We now have two swimmers achieving national qualification with Ethan Jones already gaining the 50 Backstroke mark. I am sure more of our swimmers can gain national qualification over the coming 5 weeks.
At Macclesfield it was great to see the team spirit with everyone cheering for each other, it was a tough weekend with it being late Saturday and then a early Sunday, and very long sessions but all swimmers continued with a tremendous attitude throughout, giving their absolute best.
The results were as follows:
