Club Champs 2026 Report
It’s that exciting time of year again, our annual Club Championships.
This year, to avoid the earlier North Mids, we had to squeeze it into one tough week of racing.
Congratulations to all 137 swimmers who took part from Transition, Development, Juggernaut and Masters, it’s been fantastic to see you all!!
We saw many swimmers attempting events for the first time and many swimmers even racing for the first time. It was a pleasure to see.
Lots of PBs. Lots of swimmers realising they are actually quite good at a stroke they didn't think they were. Lots of people looking ready for the season ahead.
The Skins are always an enjoyable watch and thank you to all those spectators who hung around to cheer them on!! With some interesting costume choices, and lots of chocolate, Skins are always a lot of fun.

15 & Over Girls- Winner Sophie Grindley, Runner Up Hannah Keegan
15 & Over Boys- Winner Gus Fraser, Runner Up Ed Smalley
Too many helpers to thank, officials, set up/takedown, timing, lane marshalls, team managers, raffle, swim shop, cake stall etc but thank you so much from all of the coaching team for your time, we would not be able to run these competitions without you.
Special thank you to those volunteering who didn't even have a swimmer in the water!

Desperate Plea for Officials
We are in need of new Timekeepers and Judges. As swimmers are starting to leave for university we are losing some Officials. If you can press a button on a stopwatch you can be a Timekeeper. Please speak to Michael if you want any more information.
We now look forward to North Midlands in less than 2 weeks, followed by the first round of the Arena League. Exciting times!
