Winsford Swimming Club

As I am sure you are all aware, there have been rising cases of COVID-19 within school aged children over the past few weeks and as a consequence our club has also seen rising cases within our squads.

In order to help protect all our Winsford swimmers and volunteers attending the Satellites meet, we would ask that you complete an LFD test on Saturday morning and only attend if this is negative (or have proof of a positive PCR test within the preceding 90 days, providing all isolation has been completed). Ideally this would apply to everyone attending, whether fully vaccinated or not as we have seen several cases recently in fully vaccinated people. This isn’t being requested by the organisers, however as we have all worked together so well as a club to try and reduce the spread of COVID-19, it seems a sensible and responsible precaution to take. Checks won’t be made on all swimmers and volunteers to ensure this has been done, but if everyone could take responsibility for undertaking this it would be much appreciated.
