Arena League 2026 – 4 days to go!! + TRAINING CHANGES for Wednesday for Arena Swimmers
We now only have 4 days until the Arena League 2026 starts. Our A team are heading to Macclesfield and B team to Kendal.
The Arena League is the most important and most exciting club team competition we do all season, so it is imperative we all bring our best, and race to our absolute maximum. Each and every swimmer counts, every single race is crucial, every swimmer has to perform and do their best for Winsford Swim Team.

Your support makes every difference to every swimmer; you should go away hoarse and full of love for the team!! True sportsmanship is not defined by the scoreboard, but by team spirit and the volume of support we bring.
WEDNESDAY 7th training changes
- Anyone NOT swimming in Arena will train in their normal session.
- Changes below are for Arena swimmers to allow the teams to train together and practice their takeovers.
9–11yrs B Team = 6-7pm (as normal for most).
9-11yrs A Team = 7-8pm
All 13&Under Arena League swimmers A + B = 7-8pm
All 15&Under Arena League Swimmers A + B = 8-9pm
All Open Arena League Swimmers A + B = 8-9pm
- This a mandatory practice to give us the best chance of performing on Saturday.
- Training will be a mock arena warm up and a suited race practice - please come race ready in your race gear.
- We are aware of the SJD’s swimming gala on Wednesday so these swimmers will be excused.
