Winsford Swimming Club

Congratulations to our Adam B, Amy, Chris, Giorgio, Lucy, Molly, and Pete who competed in Cheshire Masters at Stockport last night. The meet was fast paced, quick turn arounds and lots of fun! 

Shoutout to Adam Blackburn who lifetime pb’d all his races at his first ever masters competition. Adam has trained super hard leading into this competition, committing to his masters sessions and working with Ethan independently to improve his dive- this really showed! Congratulations Adam!! 

Lucy also did a new PB taking a whole second off her 50m Breastroke! Lucy is new to competing and an absolute inspiration to all you parents to get involved! 

Amy and myself both took Cheshire records in the 400 IM for our age groups. 

Giorgio used this as a little splash and dash tester pre nationals and was absolutely flying- huge confidence boost for 2 weeks time & thrived at his first ever masters meet winning multiple gold medals. 

Whilst Chris and Pete did some fantastic times as well, both who are new to competing again this year. 

Huge thank you to Andy Jones for being our starter for the evening. Toby Jones and Craig Blackburn for timekeeping the entire evening, these events couldn’t run without your kind support.
