SENW Disability Swimming Development Sessions

Important Information - please share with members who have a disability
Dear All,

Swim England North West, in partnership with the University of Greater Manchester, is delivering a block of three development sessions for athletes with disabilities.

We would be grateful if you could share this information with anyone within your club who may benefit from taking part.

Please note that sessions must be booked as a full block of three. All bookings can be made via the following link:
https://swimnorthwest.org/event-course/senw-disability-swimming-development-programme/

Lead coach for the pool sessions will be Phil Balcombe, while the dry‑land and information sessions will be led by tutors and students from the University of Greater Manchester.

If you have any questions, please contact us at clubdevelopment@swimnorthwest.org.

Coaches who may be interested in supporting the delivery of these sessions in a voluntary capacity are encouraged to get in touch. All coaches must hold an in‑date DBS, Safeguarding qualification and relevant Coaching qualifications.

We hope these sessions are well received. A significant amount of work has gone into developing them, particularly in response to feedback from members regarding the limited opportunities previously available.

Regards,

Swim England North West
