Winsford Swimming Club

It was that time of year again, time to welcome our neighbouring clubs to our pool to host a fantastic day of racing from 200’s, 100’s and 50’s -  84 of our finest Winsford swimmers took to the blocks. It was long, hot and quick turn arounds between events but that didn’t stop us, we kept performing! 

Special mention to each and every swimmer for giving it their all and showing our club off wonderfully. 

To all the parents, volunteers, technical staff, officials- without you none of this would have been possible and especially those who didn’t even have children racing, we are so grateful you gave up your Saturday to help us run such a successful meet. 

To everyone involved in the raffle and cake sale they were a huge success, they looked tremendous! We made £527!

To our amazing Club Captain team - Molly & Conor offering us coaching support, Max as Lane Marshall & Harry as Timekeeper, you truly are one of the best group of role models and leaders this club has ever had.

Final Thank you so all our visiting clubs for supporting our meet, racing fast and bringing your volunteers to help us. 

A extra reminder from us, we have a lot going on at the moment and coming up- Manchester Open any national hopefuls and any swimmers meeting qualification times should be entering. Len Thomas Llandudno Meet- a fantastic location, one of the fastest pools around in my opinion and a weekend at the beach with some splash and dash fun, we hope to have relays at this event as well so get yourselves entered, welcome to all, juniors and seniors!
