 Vacancy – SENW Regional Welfare Officer (Voluntary role) 

Swim England North West (SENW) is excited to announce a vacancy for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to join our team as the SENW Regional Welfare Officer.

This voluntary role will provide support to clubs and Welfare Officers across the North West Region, as and when required, or at the request of the Swim England Safeguarding and Welfare Team.

Swim England to evolve Coach Education with new curriculum and courses

SE is evolving Coach Education to better reflect the realities of modern coaching and support positive experiences for participants across aquatics. A series of open drop‑in sessions will be available to provide opportunities to explore the changes in more detail, ask questions and share feedback. The sessions are open to coaches, clubs and anyone with an interest in Coach Education.

 GM Sports Club Conference – Connect, Learn & Be Inspired

Are you involved in running a grassroots sports club in Greater Manchester?

Registrations are now open for the Greater Manchester Sports Club Conference on Saturday 25th July 2026, they are excited to welcome grassroots clubs from across Greater Manchester.

• Team Manager 1 (2^nd September 2026, 6pm)
• Team Manager 2 (7^th September 2026, 6pm)
• SE Safeguarding (TBC)
• SE Welfare Officer (21^st July 2026, 6pm)
• Safeguarding refresher module also available  [Book your place] (In order to complete the Refresher course all candidates must be 18 years or over and have completed the 3 hour (face to face / online) Swim England Safeguarding course within the last 3 years).

SENW Young Volunteer Award

We continue to receive posts from Young Volunteers, past and present who are eager to share their experiences on the Young Volunteer Award.  Here’s another!
