 Commonwealth Games Glasgow 2026

 Swim England North West Masters Regional Championships 

The SENW Masters Swimming Competition will be held on Saturday 19th September 2026 at Palatine Leisure Centre, Blackpool

 2026 Swim England North West Regional Awards

A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to submit nominations for the 2026 Awards, which form part of the Swim England National Awards programme.

We have been truly overwhelmed by the number of nominations received and are delighted by the response from across the region. It has been fantastic to see so many individuals recognised for their hard work, dedication and commitment to our sport. From volunteers, coaches and officials to club administrators and workforce teams, the nominations highlight the incredible people who work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure aquatics can thrive across the North West, both at club and competition level.

The success achieved by our clubs, athletes and volunteers over the past year has been exceptional, and the quality and volume of nominations received reflects the strength, passion and commitment of our aquatics community.

Nominations are now officially closed, and all submissions have been forwarded to the 2026 Awards Selection Panel for review.

Once the shortlists have been finalised, invitations will be sent to finalists for our Regional Awards Night, taking place on: Saturday 3rd October 2026 Leigh Sports Village

Additional tickets will be available soon, so keep an eye on our channels for further updates.

Swim England North West is seeking a Volunteer Swimming Manager to lead and support the development of swimming across the region. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed individual to play a key role in driving the sport forward, working alongside volunteers, clubs and stakeholders.

Swim England North West (SENW) is excited to announce a vacancy for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to join our team as the SENW Regional Welfare Officer.

This voluntary role will provide support to clubs and Welfare Officers across the North West Region, as and when required, or at the request of the Swim England Safeguarding and Welfare Team.

 Swim England to evolve Coach Education with new curriculum and courses

SE is evolving Coach Education to better reflect the realities of modern coaching and support positive experiences for participants across aquatics.

Alongside the new curriculum, SE are creating a wider range of learning opportunities. SE know that not every coach will want or need to complete a full programme, and many volunteers may prefer more flexible ways to learn alongside their existing commitments.
