 Water Polo Clubs

Do you have members in your club who are passionate about helping shape the future of water polo in the North West?

SENW hosts a Water Polo Management Group, which meets four times a year. This group plays a vital role in developing opportunities for our athletes, ensuring the North West has a strong and unified voice within Swim England, and contributing to the national direction of water polo. The group oversees the management of teams for Inter-Regional Competitions and continues to explore new ways to strengthen athlete development across the region.

We are now inviting each club to nominate a club representative to attend future meetings. Our aim is to ensure a broad range of clubs, perspectives, and playing abilities are represented, enabling us to work collaboratively and make decisions that are truly in the best interests of water polo athletes in the North West.

We would be delighted to have your club involved, please send contact details of your representative to clubdevelopment@swimnorthwest.org who can join the group on the next meeting, which will be held on the 14th July at 7:30pm.

Strong Swimmer? It Can Still Happen – Learn to Float to Live

Over the past few weeks, the UK has seen a heart-breaking rise in accidental drownings in open water.  These incidents are a devastating reminder that water is unpredictable, conditions can change in seconds, and even the strongest swimmers are vulnerable.  As a community, we must look out for one another and keep safety at the heart of everything we do.  We would like to provide all Swim England North West members with a vital reminder of how to be safe in open water.  [Click here for all the details]
