Squad Fees from 1st June 2026

As communicated at the AGM, the fees increase was delayed until we had clarity on the potential hours changes that were required to ensure that attendance remained below the 48 swimmer maximum in every session.
All the options have been considered and the only cost effective option is to continue with the split session on a Wednesday evening and, as such, the revised squad times can now be finalised.
In setting the new fees we have taken into consideration both the cost increases that the club is facing and also the impact on each squad of the change in training hours.
The cost increases are mainly driven by:-
Brio Pool Hire +12%, which includes a combination the inflationary increase, and the removal of some of the discounts the club used to receive.
Coaching / Teaching +4% which is in line with the increase in minimum wage.
The increase for any squad has been limited to 5% where the training hours are not affected.  For squads where there has been an impact to training hours this has been reduced and, in some cases, no increase has been applied in recognition of the impact of the training hours.
The new fees are shown on the Fees and Membership page on the website. The increased fees will be automatically collected and therefore provided you are registered with the club payment system, no action is required by you.
If you have any questions please contact our treasurer Rob on financegroupwasc@gmail.com. Also, if these changes could result in financial hardship due to individual circumstances, please let us know.
